ABOUT US

Who We Are
The Honoured Muslim Network (HMN) is a faith-inspired global non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Muslims to lead impactful, value-driven lives and driving sustainable socio-economic progress in vulnerable communities worldwide.
Our Journey
HMN was established in May 2020 in Nigeria by a team of dedicated volunteers. Our work began as the Honoured Orphans Network (HON), an initiative focused on supporting orphans aged 9 to 18. This foundational mandate was clear and rooted in the Quran that calls us to Honour Orphans.
For five years, HON went beyond merely providing financial support. We established genuine connections with the orphans through a comprehensive approach to enrich their lives which included monthly financial aid, regular family wellness retreats, mentorship, educational funding for their tertiary and vocational studies. This holistic care was geared toward sharing love, helping them aspire to their dreams, and empowering them as productive members of society.

In 2025, marking the 5th anniversary of the HON initiative, the organization transitioned into the Honoured Muslim Network (HMN). This strategic expansion allowed us to leverage our successful foundation and network to address broader community needs beyond orphan support.
